MOOSE FM COMMUNITY CRUISERS
May 12 - September 1, 2008 (16 weeks)


The summer is hot and the water is cool; make a splash this summer by getting on board the Moose FM Community Cruisers. By combining the strengths of radio with direct-to-consumer sampling this proactive program will pack a punch! Cottage Country is the coolest place to be in the summer – not just for weather but to reach your core target audience. Summer in Cottage Country is all about quality, social, family-time in the great outdoors; in other words, FUN! The Cottage Country population EXPLODES in the summer as hundreds of thousands of Torontonians come to play for the season.






Moose FM Cottage Country Radio Network includes:
103.3 Moose FM (CKLP-FM) – Parry Sound, Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Midland, French River
99.5 Moose FM (CFBG-FM) – Bracebridge, Huntsville, Gravenhurst, Bala, Port Carling, Rosseau, Muskoka
97.7 Moose FM (CHMS-FM) – Haliburton Highlands, Bancroft, Barry’s Bay, Algonquin Park, northern Kawartha Lakes
Moose 93.5 (CFZN-FM) – Haliburton and Minden

105.5 FM Moose FM (CFBK-FM)

Moose FM vehicles are on the road at every major event in Cottage Country (hundreds throughout the summer). We even sample on Ontario’s busiest weekend traffic highways (Hwy.400,11,28,35,69,169 & 62) Fridays or Sundays during peak traffic times, reaching thousands of people travelling to/from their cottage for the weekend. Moose FM Community Cruisers will even visit your key retailers including grocery stores, drugstores, bars, etc.

Nothing will communicate the quality of your product better than putting it directly into consumers’ hands. What better way to increase trial and usage than by sampling at a location where the consumer can immediately purchase it!






As a sponsor, you will receive on EACH of the FIVE stations:

  • On each station, a spot bank of 160 X 30” ROS (Mon-Sun 5a-1am) brandsell commercials (to be supplied by client) to air between May 12– September 1, 2008.
  • Inclusion in 10 x 30” promotional spots weekly (total 160 per station)
  • 10 x 10” liners weekly (total 160 per station)
  • Inclusion in minimum of 4 x 60” live cut-ins per week (total 64 per station)
  • Your logo prominently featured on both sides of each cruiser (total 6 decals)
  • Sampling of your product or items for distribution.
  • Visits to your key retailers/dealers (to be approved and agreed upon by Moose FM).
  • Category exclusivity for this program.

  • Couponing from Moose FM Community Cruisers will stimulate a strong call-to-action. Coupons may be used strategically to improve relations with a single banner, to drive traffic to your storefront locations, promote trial of a new brand, encourage pantry loading, etc.
  • Live cut-ins from the Moose FM Community Cruisers will bring the brand to life and allow for greater depth of communication.
  • Solidify brand loyalty by saturating Cottage Country on-air and face-to-face with tens of thousands of your prospects.


MOOSE FM WILL:

  • Produce all required on-air elements (tags, promotional announcements, etc.)
  • Hire, train, and pay for all required staff in each market.
  • Supply on-air talent for live cut-ins.
  • Assume responsibility for, and costs of, placing your logo on both sides of each cruiser (total 6 decals).
  • Cover all costs associated with the cruisers including lease, gas, insurance, and liability.
  • Provide complete wrap-up report including list of events attended, photographs, written summary, and CD of on-air announcements.


SPONSOR WILL:

  • Supply any and all copy points required.
  • Provide sufficient product to sample and/or give away. Exact quantities to be confirmed. It is also recommended that some type of premium for giveaway be incorporate into the program.
  • Supply artwork for decals
